November 10- November 18 |
November 18, 2008: I been warned to layer heavily at work because the thermostat is not to be touched or else wages will be docked or worse people will get fired! We all have to do our part!- Management. I am beginning to suspect mutiny may be afoot as the nights become colder and the pay checks are not reflecting sweater allowances. November 17, 2008: With the Holidays nearing, it just reinforces the notion that I'm poor. The term "Old Fashioned Christmas" doesn't seem to be boding well with my children either. Maybe I can MacGyver the Hannah Montana Styling Head with that old wig styling form, some paint, a sassy grey wig, and some false eyelashes. November 16, 2008: "Everyone thinks they're smart, good looking, and going to Heaven"- Stephen. "Two out of three ain't bad"-Meatloaf. November 15, 2008: I haven't heard any more about the Holiday curtains. Hopefully, we're done that bitter chapter in our lives. November 14, 2008: We've been invaded by a plague person and it is really ruining my life. November 13, 2008: Mrs. Kravitz was all on me about the cat she heard at Sherri's and trying to get into the house (to nose around) to search for curtains left over a year ago. After contacting Sherri, I learned said curtains had been disposed of and so, I relayed the message. Through the 'those were my holiday curtains''they're only curtains''I'm not mad', I heard anger clearly. Sherri, watch your back! November 12, 2008: I arrived home at 4:30 am in time for an hour and a half of sleep before getting the kids up for school and going to work- will there be enough coffee so I can make it through the day? Will there be too much bickering at home for me too get my proper rest? Isn't cereal an acceptable dinner? Or Ramen? November 11, 2008: Well, I really thought I was on the right track with my outfit- a very Tim Gunnish Wardrobe Director loved it, Make-up thought I needed nothing, but no one let the woman in charge of background placement know how fabulous I looked. Sarah Jessica, where are you? A fashion injustice is happening right on your set, NOW!!! November 10, 2008: Went thrifting to put together a look for the new Sarah Jessica Parker pilot. On the way over, all I could think of is a Dolce & Gabbana look from the September Vogue and I found the perfect plaid jacket in greys with navy and burgany that paired with my skinny charcoal dress pants and thin grey sweater- Sarah Jessica will love it!! |
