Buttons: A Mystery- this full sized quilt
tells of the disappearance of one of my
family members in the 50's. Many
theories were given including mob hit,
secret labotomy, and the possibility that
she was in hiding. Although detectives
were hired, to this day, no one in my
family knows exactly what befell of her.
"The Black Dahlia: Before and After"-
These two needlepoint pieces show
Elizabeth Short. 'Before' is from one of
the most known photos of the murdered
woman. The 'After' is taken from one
of her autopsy photos. This mystery
remains unsolved although many have a
theory. Several books have been written
which claim to solve the murder. These
theories have yet to be proved.
